Everything you need to know about Event Signup — browsing events, registering, and using the tools.

Browsing Events

Events are grouped into four sections on the main page:

UpcomingEvents starting within the next 7 days.
FutureEvents more than 7 days away.
PastEvents that ended within the last 30 days.
Filter by Category Use the category buttons at the top of the page to narrow events to a specific group. Click All to see everything again.
Tip: Events starting within 4 hours are marked with a red Soon badge so they stand out.

Signing Up for an Event

Click the event card — or the Sign Up button on an available event. Full or past events cannot be signed up for.

Fill in your name (first and last), and optionally your email and phone number in the popup form.

Click Register. A success message confirms your signup. The event card immediately updates its signup count.
Each event has a maximum number of spots. Once full, the button shows Full and no further signups are accepted.

Event Status Badges

BadgeMeaning
CurrentThe event is happening right now.
OngoingA recurring or open-ended event with no fixed time.
UpcomingStarts within the next 7 days.
FutureStarts more than 7 days from now.
PastThe event has already ended.
FullMaximum signups reached.
SoonStarts within 4 hours — act quickly!

Summary & Text Format

Each event section has toolbar buttons for quick reporting:

Summary button Current Summary … Opens a full event summary for that section — event code, category, title, time range, signup count, support count, and all registered names. Use Copy to copy to clipboard or Share to share the data.
Text button Text Generates a compact texting-ready format for today's and tomorrow's events — time, signed-up names, and category. Ideal for pasting into a group chat or SMS.
The Text button activates only when events fall on today or tomorrow. Use Copy inside the modal to copy the formatted text.

Language Toggle

Switch between English and Chinese using the toggle in the navigation bar:

Your language choice is saved in the browser and remembered on your next visit. When Chinese is selected, event titles and descriptions also display their Chinese versions if available.

Your Tracking ID

The app assigns you an anonymous tracking ID stored in your browser. This is used to remember whether you have supported an event, so you don't accidentally support it twice.

  • Your tracking ID is never linked to your name or personal information.
  • It expires after 30 days and is automatically renewed.
  • Clearing browser storage will generate a new ID.
Your tracking ID is different from your signup registration. You can sign up even without an ID.

Supporting Events

Each event card shows a Support counter. Click it to express interest or encouragement for an event — useful even if you cannot sign up.

  • Clicking again removes your support (toggle).
  • Support counts are visible to everyone.
  • Support is tracked by your anonymous tracking ID.

Admin Login

Staff members can log in using the Login link in the navigation bar. After authentication you can:

  • Create, edit, and delete events.
  • View all registered signups across events.
  • Export signup data.
  • Bulk import events via CSV.
Admin access requires a store account set up in the backend. Contact your administrator for credentials.
